The 2022 Polestar 2 presented in an overall good condition consistent with its age, make, model and kilometres.
An Aviloo battery test was conducted, which returned an excellent result, indicating the battery is in very strong condition with minimal degradation. This is a highly positive outcome, particularly as the battery is the most critical component in an electric vehicle.
During the inspection, a few minor issues were identified. Minor cracks were noted on the front lower control arm rear bushes, and the passenger side sunvisor cover was found to be broken.
Cosmetically, the vehicle shows signs of wear and has not been particularly well maintained, with several scratches noted internally and externally.
On the road test, the vehicle exhibited a slight pull to the left, which may require a wheel alignment or further inspection. The vehicle otherwise drove smoothly with no abnormal noises or vibrations noted from the electric drive system.
Apart from the above, no major mechanical or electrical concerns were identified at the time of inspection.
It is recommended to proceed with the purchase, with the vehicle considered a safe and reliable option, subject to addressing the minor items outlined above.
