Inspector’s overall review

The 2007 Holden Commodore presented for inspection was found to be in generally good condition overall — quite rare to see one this well kept for its age. The engine and transmission performed well during testing, with no major mechanical faults noted. Suspension felt solid, though the front ball joint shows some splitting and will need attention soon. Brakes and front rotors are due for replacement, and the battery and drive belt are also nearing the end of their service life. The rear right door actuator wasn’t operating correctly, and the rear driver’s taillight has water leak and needs replacement. There’s also a minor issue with the windscreen sealing that should be repaired to prevent future leaks. Overall, the vehicle runs well and presents in good shape considering age — just requires a few common wear-and-tear items to bring it up to top condition.
